In 2019, a considerable percentage of the building destined for the Wurstfest Texan festival, whose objective is to promote the local economy through tourism and preserve the heritage of the German community, was consumed by fire. From this event, the need arose to build a new and improved building, through materials that will provide greater resistance and allow the application of a variety of finishes.
NOVIDESA IKOS I16 insulating panels were used due to their mechanical resistance and adaptability to all types of structures, for the construction of 10 cm thick dividing walls due to their thermal insulation properties and for their 15 cm self-supporting system plug wall façade; allowing to build and finish after four weeks. IKOS I16 stands out for its lightness, being ideal for quick assembly.
Likewise, the application of this material allows the usability of the property to have significant energy savings throughout its useful life, thanks to its conditioning, benefiting the activities of the festival and its approximately 200,000 visitors.
